Our cats …
We have four cats from 14 months to 2 years old -
Treacle (AKA Dopey)
Treacle, a Maine-Coone Tabby cross is the eldest. His favourite pastime is sitting in the kitchen begging for food - however when given food he often just sits there and has to be taken to his bowl! His other favourite pastime is jumping up on top of doorframes (hence various claw marks on the doors!). He is however very affectionate and sits on your lap after looking up at you and giving a miew (well more of a squeak!).
Truffles (AKA Greedy)
Truffles, a Bengal-Persian cross has recently started to come out of himself after being rather lacking in personality as the result of a severe illness. He is now the greedy one and always the one to get ot the food first and push everyone else out of the way. He has even been known to snatch food out of the others’ mouths! He is not so affectionate and does not much like being picked up. He is very wide eyes and has a look of constant alarm! He loves pushing Tim’s papers away on his desk and making himself comfortable.
Topaz (AKA Brains)
Topaz, a British Short Hair is the brains of the outfit. He is a fairly quiet placid kitten but always seems to have everything in check. He is very good at remembering where things are and seeking them out when you’re not looking. He also likes to carry things around the house in his mouth when he’s found them. He is very good at gnawing into things, especially plastic bags, cardboard and Christmas wrapping paper! He has recently taken to jumping up and falling asleep on top of the bathroom cabinet!
Trebor (Scampi)
Our latest addition Trebor is Persian. Very different to the rest with a fluffy white coat. He loves to jump up on the desk right in front of the computer and is very affectionate. He scampers around (hence Scamp!) and looks just like a ball of fur!
