This evening we went to see Hamlet at the RSC in Stratford with David Tennant. Nice to see the Courtyard Theatre for a change with its ‘in the round’ style stage, reminiscent of the original Shakespeare. Also, featured Patrick Stewart. One of Shakespeare’s longer plays but very engaging.

Afterwards (much to Tim’s disbelief) David Tennant came out of the stage door to sign autographs of the crowd of young girls who had congregated outside to await his appearence. Much to Sadaf’s disappointment she didn’t manage to get his autograph as she had to rush off to the loo and Tim wasn’t keen on standing in the middle of a crowd of teenage girls!
